4th Annual Par-Tee @Topgolf
Oct 16, 2022
Today Colleen’s family had fun while raising money for one of her favorite charities, Red Shoe Society of Chicago. Red Shoe held its 4th Annual Par-Tee at Top Golf in Schaumburg, IL.
Colleen’s presence was represented by her parents and brothers for a morning of family-friendly golf competition and brunch while raising essential funds that help keep families with hospitalized children together.
We look forward to this event every year! Such a truly wonderful organization, Red Shoe. This was the first year a family from a house attended. It was a pleasure meeting Hannah, a true fighter and warrior. We will continue to keep Colleen's philanthropic legacy alive. –Christine Gleason
Red Shoe helps support Ronald McDonald Houses of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC), who tell us, “Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can have a place to stay. With your help, everyone will have a warm, friendly home away from home.”
RMHC has this impressive record of service in 2021 alone:
7,740 children served
7,479 families served
$6.1 million saved by families
17,456 volunteer hours
Colleen contributed to volunteer hours in the years before she passed. Colleen Cares carries out her work with Red Shoe and RMHC with today’s Par-Tee.
At Top Golf, every great time starts with play. If you’re not familiar with Top Golf, players hit micro-chipped golf balls that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield. All age and ability ranges can enjoy the game together.
